The Synapse Wine solution consists of 14 unique web-based applications custom designed to support the unique needs of the Winery industry. Each application can be user-customized and their functions can be directly integrated into your Ecommerce website.
The following provides basic information on how each of the Synapse Wine modules works and how the modules interact with each other and your website.
Customers
This utility allows you to add, modify, delete or search your entire customer database. As a minimum, you can include detailed contact information, credit card numbers, Wine Club subscription data, and shipping criteria.
With its Grouping function, you can establish custom grouping assignments and link one or more groups to each customer.
Using the Reminders function, you can set custom detailed reminders and associate them with specific customers or groups.
Inquiries
This module directly interfaces with your Ecommerce website. When a potential customer visits your site and submits an Inquiry form they are automatically added to your customer database, and their inquiry is added to the Inquires module.
Inquires can be assigned to specific Personnel for follow up with the Customer Grouping function, or a Reminder can be set to ensure their request is satisfied.
Newsletters
With the Newsletter utility, you can quickly develop promotional newsletters using a variety of custom-designed templates. You can then send the newsletter to a specific client or distribute to multiple customers applying one or more of the Grouping assignments your have created in the Customer module.
Sales
This utility is a very powerful component of your Synapse Wine suite.
New Sale
With this function, you can quickly process a sale by simply picking the customer, selecting the product stored within the Product module, select the quantity based upon available inventory, and complete the sales transaction.View Sales
This function allows you to overview current pending sales utilizing predefined filters. You can then print custom designed, automatically priced invoices for the selected sales.Manage Taxes
This utility allows you to establish the parameters your system will apply to dynamically keep up with location specific distribution rules and tax laws. It allows you to control your sales based upon city, state, zip code range, and/or sales type. With the ever-changing wine distribution legislation, this may be the most critical function available in you Synapse Wine Sales module.
Personnel
The Personnel module allows you to add, delete, modify or view contact information about your personnel, and set Synapse Wine username, password, and access rights. Only predefined individuals will have access to this information.
Products
The Products module is also directly integrated with your website. It will allow you to add, modify, or delete products presented on you site, control product inventories, and establish product pricing based upon product, customer grouping or other factors you establish. It includes a powerful view filter, and a utility for establishing and managing product categories, including Wine Class, Varietal, Type, and Appellation.
Wine Clubs
This module provides a very powerful tool for managing your Wine Club members, events, programs and event locations.
In addition it automatically notifies when member credit cards are within three months of expiring, allowing you to contact Wine Club members for new credit card information.
You can then easily establish a Customer Grouping for those Club Members with cards soon to expire, develop a Notification with your Newsletter module, and then send out the message -- Imagine the possibilities!
Edit Web Site
This feature rich application allows you to directly edit your website content in real-time, even if you only possess minimal word processing talent.
